It is clear that you can move, despite the coronavirus pandemic. Anyhow, you must keep in mind some precautions for moving and practice the recommendations of maintaining social distance, wash your hands constantly, and disinfect your clothes and items.

There are, however other recommendations made by The American Moving & Storage Association, applicable for movers and their clients. The first one, of course, is postponing their moves if possible. AMSA has published these recommendations, and has also said: “Your health and the health of your family is important”; “If you are in a vulnerable group, over 60 or have a compromised immune system, schedule your move after the pandemic is over if it is at all possible”.

Movers are considered as low-risk workers for transmitting coronavirus, as they are well instructed on how to prevent the infection and maintaining social distance while they do their work. Now, the important thing is that you, as a citizen and as a customer, are cautious and careful with your health and follow all precautions for Moving.
